Establishment of a plant for production of bio-oil and bio-diesel

In the city of Vidin, north-west Bulgaria, a plant was established for production of bio-oil and bio-diesel. About 1,100 tons of oleiferous fruits are treated daily. The delivery of raw materials and transportation of products take place via waterways of Danube River.
The required landing stages as well as loading and unloading facilities had to be designed. Vegetable oil was extracted in the oil-mill and largely processed to bio-diesel at a later stage in refinery. The plant was designed for treatment of rapeseed, sunflower and soy.
