Industrial Area Development Planning - Germany
Connection, storm- and wastewater discharge and treatment, long-distance heating, natural gas
The objective of the develpment planning was a design concept for the upcoming industrial area at Wolfener Str. and the idea of connection as well as establishement of a public area, which would particularly correspond to the requirements of Photovoltaik Industy (PV Industry). The desing concept served as a groundwork for an application for being provided with the required equipment by the Joint Agreement for Improvement of Regional Economic Structures. Schlegel Consulting Engineers was in charge of a plan for stormwater discharge and its treatment through retention soil filter, wastewater discharge, potable- and quench water supply, natural gas supply as well as heating and cooling systems through long-distance heating. Furthermore, electricity, heating and cooling generators were investigated and assessed as alternatives. Establishment and distribution of an industrial gas supply system (Argon, Oxygen, Hydrogen and Nitrogen) was also surveyed.
